  • How much does it cost to tune my piano?
    The fee for tuning your piano is 500 Dhs. If your piano has not been tuned for a long time, it might require a raise in pitch (a.k.a. Double Tuning), and the fee is 600 Dhs. In some cases, depending on piano condition, additional follow up visit maybe required in order to achieve a long-lasting tuning stability. There will be additional fee added. It usually takes about 120 minutes to tune a piano. If the piano's pitch is lower than standard pitch A-440 it takes an extra 30 min to do a pitch raise.
  • Do you tune in all Emirates?
    I service and tune pianos in all Emirates at additional charge for transportation and time required to arrive at your address.
  • What if I have broken strings on my piano?
    Replacing any string will cost you 300 Dhs per string. That includes two follow up visit for retuning the new string. If wound string is broken, I recommend replacing both strings for bi-cords. All strings are custom made according to measurements taken from your original string.
  • Is there anything that can be done for loose tuning pins on my piano?
    Yes, repair is possible. Loose pins are pounded with sledge hummer further inside the piano block (if possible), or extracted and installed back by a special technique. It can also be replaced with larger pin size.
  • Where is the  best place to put my piano in my home?
    A piano should be placed on an inside wall. The piano should not be placed under direct sunlight and A/C vents, or anywhere near moving air. I can install a Piano Life Saver System for improved humidity control upon request.
